The terminal most traders already know — charting, automated strategies and order management — running on our liquidity and our execution.
MT4 has been the industry default for two decades for a simple reason: everything a discretionary or systematic trader needs is in it, it runs on modest hardware, and there is an enormous body of indicators and Expert Advisors already written for it.
From M1 scalping charts to monthly context, with custom templates saved per instrument.
Run, backtest and optimise automated strategies with the built-in Strategy Tester.
Market, limit, stop, trailing stop and OCO, with one-click trading from the chart.

After verification we email your MT4 account number, server name and password. Keep them handy — all three are needed.
Run the installer, choose File → Login to Trade Account, enter the number and password and pick the exact server from the list.
Open Market Watch, drag an instrument onto a chart, add your indicators and save the layout as a template.

Three things, in this order: use the trading account number, not your website email; make sure the server you picked matches exactly the one in your welcome email; and check that the password has no trailing space from copy-and-paste. If it still fails, contact support and we will reset it.
It gives read-only access: charts, history and open positions, but no trading. Useful if you want someone to review your account without being able to touch it.
The terminal runs on your machine, so your computer must stay on for an EA to trade. Many clients use a VPS for this; we can point you to providers but do not host EAs ourselves.
MT4 shows server time, which is not necessarily your local time. Check the server clock in Market Watch before reading session opens or economic-calendar times.
